ETASHA Society, working in the Employment and Income Generation space, is looking for an impact-driven, process-oriented leader to scale up its operations. Over 15 years ETASHA has impacted the lives of over 42000 youth, adolescents and women in both urban and rural communities, helping them become economically self-reliant and live with dignity.

 

You are the ED for ETASHA, if you

• Care deeply about the inequity in our world, and about making this right.

• Have been a senior manager in a large organisation or the CEO of a mid-sized one

• You are a great organiser, planner & executor, and will get your hands dirty - in villages, slums, and, in board-rooms

• Have the ability to raise funds - from corporates, institutions, individuals.

• Have a great heart, a brilliant mind and abundance of energy.

• Gentle with others, impatient with yourself.

 

You will be a:

Strategic Planner and Leader:

• Grow the organisation into one that shapes the national approach to skill development for low resource communities.

• Develop Strategic Plans for the different verticals to advance the organisation’s mission, vision and objectives.

• Ensure delivery of commitments and quality of results.

Entrepreneurial in Nature:

• Developing and managing partnerships / collaborations with NGOs, Foundations and the Government.

• Raising funds for significant growth.

• Interface with Donors, Funders, Corporates, Accreditation Agencies, and other key actors in the eco system.

Strong People Leader and Communicator:

• Be a mentor-leader and guide a committed team to build on the culture of equality, respect, transparency, excellence in governance and delivery.

Tech-savvy

• Lead and drive the vision from a technology standpoint, building new and innovative tech-based models and systems.

 

You will report to the Founder- President, who has been the Chief Executive of the Society. All operations will report in to you. The central functions of Accounts and HR will continue to directly to the President.

 

Remuneration will naturally not be a key driver for the person that wishes to fill these shoes. The affordable range is INR 18-20Lakhs pa, and includes a deliverables-linked component.
