Program  Officer, Location: East Delhi, Delhi,

·         The Position responsibilities are:

1. Conduct workshops on gender sensitization, child rights and child sexual assault with the children in schools and Communities.

2. Develop a pool of child ambassadors to sensitize other children in schools and communities.

3. Conduct regular, visits to home and, meetings with parents and children to discuss and develop further plan of action to deal the issues pertaining of child protection.

4. Conduct regular programmes for child ambassadors to develop their skills, knowledge and personality.

5. Provide counseling and required support to survivors and their family members.

6. Conduct visits to Hospitals, Police Stations, Courts, Home and other places, as required.

7. Need assessment of the survivors and their family members and develop further plan of action accordingly.

8. Attend periodic meetings and liaison with concerned stakeholders such as School authorities, Delhi Commission for Women, Child Welfare Committees, Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Police, Courts, Delhi Legal Service Authority, Statutory Bodies, Community representatives/Key persons and organizations etc.

9. Documentation work such as IEC materials, Newsletters, Magazines, Compendiums, Case reports, follow up reports, correspondence etc.

·         The skills required for the position are:

1. Good Communication Skills both oral and written.

2. Pro activeness –Ability to self start things and operate independently.

3. Strong analytical skills and excellent computer skills, including MS Office.

4. Good documentation skills, coordination, communication, interpersonal and networking skills.

5. Team Management and ability to handle work pressure.

6. Result  oriented and multi  tasking.

7. Willingness to travel.

Remuneration:

  The Salary would be Rs. 25,000/  per month + travel allowance on actual basis.
