Responsibilities of Education Coordinator
Function of
Job:
Under
supervision of CEO of Sshrishti plan, organize, evaluate, coordinate and manage
assigned educational program (s) for Sshrishti’s Learning Centres. The
Education Coordinator reports to the CEO of Sshrishti.
Duties and
Responsibilities
1. Provide
Supervision to Sshrishti’s Learning Centres
2. Provide
supervision/evaluation of instructional aides at elementary school levels.
3. Help
teachers to build strong instructional skills and a deeper understanding of
educational tools and technologies available to them
4. Prepare
and maintain all comprehensive records for school and provide training to all
staff members and monitor all child development and educational programs.
5. Assess
teacher performance and make suggestions for improvement.
6. Assess
student performance to determine in what ways instructional approaches need to
be changed or modified in order to create effective curriculums
7.
Facilitates parent committee meetings
8. To help
in the development and implementation of instructional materials and curriculum
programs that will meet educational standards
9. Create
materials and curriculums with the help of other academic staff
10.
Coordinate with donors for their day to day activities
11.
Coordinates cultural presentations throughout the year
12. Other
duties as assigned
Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities Required:
1. MSW with
Minimum 2 yeas’ experience in any organisation working on education for
children/ degree in Early Childhood education.
2. Sound
knowledge of handling school activities and other admin work
3.
Comprehensive knowledge of community resources.
4.
Experience in program planning and development, implementation, and assessment.
5. Strong
communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
6. Ability
to work independently and assume leadership roles.
7. Ability
to plan and facilitate professional and personal development activities with
groups and individuals
8. Has
worked as a principal in a school will be preferred
9. Fluency
in English is must
Remuneration
Salary will
depend on qualification and experience. 20000 - 25000
