About the internship

During one's internship they offer applicant an interesting, varied and demanding area of responsibility, in which one will get a deeper insight into German development cooperation in India, especially in the field of social security and health insurance. One’s tasks are composed of technical and organizational support to the project. These include, amongst others,

technical assistance to consulting services to the Ministry

research

independent editing of topics

project management support

preparation and follow-up of events and meetings

ad-hoc support of the programme director and other colleagues etc.

Qualification and experience

One has completed an undergraduate degree (Bachelor) in a relevant subject, e.g. Economics, Health or Social Sciences

One has good knowledge of German Development Cooperation and possibly first working experience in developing and emerging countries

Previous knowledge in the field of social security/ social health insurance/ UHC are a prerequisite for the internship

German is one’s native language and you have excellent spoken and written English skills

One is familiar with MS Office products. One has a sense of responsibility, proactivity, creativity and capacity for teamwork, and is flexible and able to work autonomously

One can quickly adapt to new tasks and situations and have the ability to reproduce complex facts and results in a simple, clear and comprehensible manner.
