Key Responsibilities

Coordinating with RAHI’s existing network of survivors across the country and outside

Expanding on the survivor network

Liasioning and working closely with RAHI’s creative team

Researching information from books, articles and the net

Compiling data

Organising and documenting meetings and focus group discussions with survivors. The right person will be able to conduct these as well.

Key Characteristics

An ideal candidate should have the following background, knowledge and skills:

Understanding of gender based violence and abuse, women’s rights, sexuality and queer

Must be connected to a larger number of groups, organisations and individuals

Excellent coordination skills

Excellent interpersonal, networking and collaboration skills

Excellent written and spoken English

Written and spoken Hindi

An ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

Must be willing to learning and unlearning about incest/CSA and survivor related issues

Must be willing to give and take feedback

Must have a high level of self reflexivity

RAHI is a trauma-based organization and work on this issue tends to impact those involved in it. Consequently, it is important for those who opt to work at RAHI to deal with their own issues that may crop up

In case you are a survivor of incest/CSA and/or other traumas or difficulties, you must be in therapy or willing to get help

                    Compensation will be based on experience and internal equity.
